Nathan, remember in one of my emails i told you that there was this little discussion about you guys getting big? Well,there was this Poll and you could vote if you were happy about it or not. I said NOT. and i will tell you why.. There was this band -i won't say the name cause it doesn't matter- so this band was the best for me! It was the first band i ever liked and i was really happy to have them as my ''little secret'' they weren't even known here. After their Album came out and their video was played here a 243543654 times on tv, people started to like them. And i was so happy about it, cause i never thought people would get to know them here. Finally i had the chance to see them at a concert! I thought it would be a really small show with just a few people ..just like i've heard that and seen on videos. but i was really wrong..that place was sold out.. it was filled with teenies-girls that only care about looks- and people that only came to see the leadsinger and guitarist. But i was lucky to stand in front! It was awesome but empty..there was no connection with the fans at all, it was like ''lets play a show and leave this place''. Bodyguards everywhere, i just wasn't able to go crazy it felt weird. The point is, those guys changed, they changed their minds, their thoughts their attitude after they got huge around the world so quick.In the beginning they were just like you..small shows, meeting fans blablaa..and SNAP it was over. They weren't even allowed to see their fans after a show..see how bad it can turn out? I don't want to say it will turn out the same with you guys. I'm just afraid.. it happened with all of the small bands, it destroyed everything. I don't want you guys to get ''fake fans'' the ones that call you ''hot'' all the time and don't even know how much the songs you wrote mean to you. ''Sometimes things just change''-that's what you probably will say. but the things THAT will change have a huge inpact on peeps. Like..the River Creeps. its soooo awesome, it's like a big family , and remember you wanted a river creeps party cruise? That'de be awesome but..that family is grwoing and growing..do you think you'll be able to do that if you get 46546768746875400000000000000 river creeps? No, you won't. That's my fear! The family grows and the contact between us [RP] will get smaller. Don't get me wrong, please! I only want the best for Madina Lake! you're the first band that cares soooo much about their fans, lots of peeps feel a connection. And that's great! You guys deserve the best of the world..You guys deserve the wolrd! :)what a shame being famous isn't the best you can get. I hope you know what i'm trying to say with this long letter.. You need to always keep in your mind that the fans THAT care about you will always stay, please don't hurt them. I got hurt and then i lost faith in bands, i couldn't believe you were that kind. I'm trusting you, i know that you all know what you're doing. I'm just worried, worried about the future, worried your dream wold get raped away by the media and shit. And i also know you guys dream of it to play in a vanue with like 800.000 peeps, and someday you might be doing it! 800.000 peeps can give you the feeling of being loved but in a vanue with 80 peeps you know that you're loved.
